Senior Credit Analyst-North Jersey / Salary to $75K

Job Duties
Supports lending team with credit underwriting efforts including industry and company research, loan presentation preparation, financial statement spreads, cash flow analysis, rental economics, commitment letter and documentation preparation. Assists with construction advances and borrowing base related lines of credit. Accompanies loan officers on customer calls. Periodically will follow up with customers, inspectors and accountants regarding required documentation or questions. Responsible for preparation of presentations to Officers’ Loan Committee including attachments to Baker Hill. Opportunity includes presenting simpler loan requests to Officers’ Loan Committee. Typically fields customer questions and inquiries when loan officers are not available.

Broad knowledge of such fields as advanced accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. equivalent to four years of college, plus a minimum 3 years experience and/or training as a bank credit analyst.

BA/BS degree preferred. Knowledge and understanding of credit evaluation and underwriting skills for commercial loans including the ability to analyze complex financial statements and tax returns and perform cash flow analysis. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram formats. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Must also possess strong computer skills. Must be reliable and able to effectively communicate in writing and verbally with individuals at all levels or in a group setting. Must be able to think independently, express an opposing opinion and ask questions in a diplomatic manner. Must be bondable.

Retail – Luxury – senior IT auditor 100-115k

To be qualified a candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or Information Technology.  Candidates must have a minimum of 4-5 years of internal audit or relevant IT operational experience.  This position requires a good understanding of auditing and risk evaluation as well as excellent communication skills (verbal and written).  Candidates must have the ability to prioritize and work in a highly dynamic, fast paced and team oriented environment, as well as the ability to work independently.  The position requires strong diplomacy skills and the ability to resolve conflict in a professional manner.  Candidates must be self-motivated with a strong drive for achievement.  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications is required.  Candidates must have the ability to travel to domestic and internal locations up to 20%.

Possession of one or more of the following professional certifications is preferred (CISA, CISSP, CIA or CPA).  Knowledge of TeamMate, ACL, Business Objects, or other data analytics tools is preferred.  Knowledge and experience auditing of the following are preferred:

  • Enterprise Resource Platforms (JD Edwards, Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, SAP)
  • Emerging technologies (Cloud, virtualization, mobile, etc.)
  • Databases (Microsoft SQL or Oracle)
  • Complex networks, routers, switches and firewalls
